Hands on touch is perhaps the most ancient of healing modalities. As a licensed massage therapist, Jon marries his knowledge of western massage therapy to traditional Asian methods in order to provide powerful relief to his patients.

Bodywork is the term for methods & techniques of manual therapy. Hands, feet, knees, elbows & fingers can all be used to address tension or adhesion in the muscles and fascia (soft tissue). The circulation of qi (energy) & blood is stimulated, promoting overall health. Acupressure is utilized to affect the functioning of the organs & tissues.

At Pyndus Acupuncture & Wellness, we incorporate techniques from Chinese Tui Na, Japanese An Ma, Jūkaidō Shiatsu, & Thai massage as appropriate for each client’s needs. Our sessions are therapeutic, not just for relaxation & utilize the same diagnostic process as acupuncture & herbal medicine.

Jon has been a licensed massage therapist since 2011. In addition to his education at the Avalon School of Massage, he has studied Tui Na through his studies at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Japanese An Ma under Saitō Sensei in Japan, & Jūkaidō Shiatsu under Dr. Joseph Adriance through his Jūkaidō Kempō Bujutsu lineage.
